SURRON ULTRA BEE REAR BRAKE PEDAL KIT 2 – CNC designed and manufactured T6 high quality, aircraft grade, aluminium rear brake pedal assembly. Comes with new footrest bracket which bolts directly in to the original frame fixing holes and allows you to fit your OEM footpeg or aftermarket high grip types. A new HEL Performance dual port brake cylinder mounts to the back plate from which the new supplied brake pipes run to the left hand handlebar back brake lever master cylinder and the rear brake caliper so that you can use either your back brake lever on the handlebars to brake or you can use the foot brake pedal.
If you are used to a rear brake foot pedal, then this could be what you need. PLUS, you have the added advantage of being able to back brake in to right hand corners using the OEM handlebar back brake lever as well. We’ve been testing this brake assembly on our SURRON UK Team Rev Monkey race bikes all season and can assure you, it’s a great mod for your Ultra Bee.
WHAT IS IN THE KIT ?
Brake pedal assembly
New Hel Performance Dual Port slave cylinder
2 x HEL Performance brake lines – one to the rear caliper and the other to the handlebar lever complete with copper washers.
Brake pedal return spring and fittings.
The above kit uses the OEM brake lever assembly on the handlebars.
ALSO AVAILABLE : SINGLE PORT rear brake pedal assembly which is used for the rear brake foot pedal only and means that you can remove the rear brake lever assembly on the handlebars.
As used on the SURRON UK Team Rev Monkey championship winning race bikes.
Easy to install. Takes 15 mins to fit the kit and run the new brake pipes to the caliper and handlebar lever and then you have to bleed up the brakes and you are good to go.
