FITTING INSTRUCTIONS
Make sure all the surfaces are clean and free from oil or grease. Offer up the sprocket to the loose wheel, line up the holes in the hub with the holes in the sprocket and arrange the holes so that you have one at the 12.00 o’clock position. The other holes will then be at 2.00, 4.00, 6.00, 8.00 and 10.00 o’clock. If you want to do the job properly, it is best to use a thread lock, like Loctite Blue 243 on the threads as you reassemble. Finger tight all bolts in to position, then hand tighten the bolts first at 12.00 o’clock, then 6.o’clock, then 2.00 o’clock, then 8.00 o’clock, then 4.00 o’clock and finally 10.00 o’clock. When this is done, set your torque wrench to 25Nm and repeat the tightening sequence as above.
